Since moving to Deal I often walk the beach at golden hour to take the air and grab shots of my new home. Fred (ex fisherman and ferry worker) is a regular sight at the end of the day and - for many - the symbol of Walmer beach. He allowed me some shots at one of his regular meetings with the birds. He feeds them wholemeal bread and occasionally biscuits (custard creams). They wait for him in this spot every day.
