I came here for a breather from the hamster wheel of London. In photography terms it's another country. Fewer people and they move more slowly, but there is sea and landscape and spots like Deal, Margate, Folkestone and Whitstable. France is so close you can see it. I spent my first year walking the beach at sunrise shooting boats, seagulls and beach huts. In my second year I picked up a cheap Honda Deauville to take a proper look and invade Northen France.
